EMOTION IS STILL ALLOWED TO US

I can’t remember if it’s November or February anymore.
Sometimes I even struggle to understand if it’s night or day…
Occasionally I wake up in the middle of the night, with a strange pressure in my chest, wondering if I’m dreaming or if it’s all real… My valley, in the middle of the winter season, the most important one for us, is empty. If someone had told us something like this a year ago, we wouldn’t have believed it, yet here we are. If I stop to think too much, I struggle to find ways out, so I look for answers elsewhere and as always, some essential things come to my aid. My family, my land, and my work.

Never before have I understood the value of having two professions and the value of being an Anita with many facets. So, in a period where everything or almost everything in my valley seems to have stopped, my business continues to flourish. And it does so thanks to you, thanks to my going against the current, and thanks to the fact that I believed 21 years ago that opening a tailor shop in a tourist valley was more a choice of heart than logic, but that heart needed to be listened to…

Thanks to all this, over the years a lot of things have developed that I won’t even tell you about; but today, from all these tiny, infinitesimal small things, a wonderful story has emerged, which tells my journey in such a delicate and true way that it moves me every time I see it. I’ve met many people on my journey; not all these encounters have had a happy ending and many have really hurt, but some have gone straight to the heart and brought wonderful things.

Today, in such a complicated historical moment for each of us in different ways and times, I would like to share an Emotion with you. An emotion not written this time, but an emotion born from an incredible encounter and that comes through a video story that Nicola Gennari created for me, but also for you I think. A video story that doesn’t just talk about my clothes with the Fragrance of Dolomites, but talks about my whole land and does it in such a delicate way that it goes straight to the heart.
