FINDING YOUR PLACE IN THE WORLD
This Spring, I Got Stuck!
Once again caught in the whirlwind of my thoughts and the frenzy of trying to accomplish many… too many things. A thousand ideas in my head, wanting to share them, to tell them, wanting to do and create… but I felt there was no logical and well-structured thread. I believe creativity is the greatest gift I’ve received, but over time I’ve realized it can also become my biggest limitation. Sometimes I need to keep my mind in check, as it sets off on endless journeys and really struggles to stop ;). So I decided to find my place in the world… 😉 Not meant as a finite sense above everything else, but as a way to “create order,” eliminate the unnecessary, and channel energy into fewer things but done well. I stopped writing on the blog for a while. I needed a reflective break to create order… like spring cleaning…;) You know what I mean? Super boring but necessary! I haven’t reached where I want to be yet, after all, life is always evolving, but I’m traveling well in that direction. Finding your place in the world means prioritizing certain things and necessarily eliminating others. Focusing on one project at a time in blocks of time, without interruption, offline… immersed in just that thing (have you ever tried it?): what a magnificent discovery it was!!!!
Starting over with a Different Awareness
Just as in any other sector, in my work too, I started again from solid foundations, from targeted and concrete choices. I’ve gathered here in my virtual space a part of my world, and now, better than before, I know who I am, I know what my place in the world is, and above all, I know what drove me to create the services I’m particularly attached to, namely my online courses. Now I know why I put all the passion and “love I could into creating the basic course ‘The Secrets of the Sewing Machine’ and the other courses you’ll find in the shop. The reason is that I DON’T want you, who are passionate about sewing or want to learn to create with your hands”, to get lost along the way as happened to me so many times. I don’t want your passion to be swept away by lack of organization, your creative drive to be inhibited by those hitches that happen when you first use a sewing machine and still lack solid foundations. I don’t want you, who have a passion or talent to cultivate, to get stuck like I did.
I hope you like them and they make you fall in love with the beauty that lies in creating something with your own hands!! Welcome to a part of my place in the world, thank you for the privilege of your readership.
